Open On Sunday Challenge for 04-24-05: Guilty Pleasures Setting: BTvS Season 6 Rated: PG-13
It never happens when someone else is in the house. Or when the windows are open. She'd died if anyone knew. If anyone even suspected. She hates it; feels dirty afterward, but she can't seem to stop.
She knows it's wrong, but she just needs to feel. She's sure they'd never understand if they found out what she does. It's no substitute for a real relationship, but she couldn't handle one of those right now.
She tries to fight, but the need's too strong. Giving in one more time, she reaches under her bed and takes out Willow's birthday present.
Open on Sunday Drabble Challenge for 04-17-05: News Reports
Angel S2 Here Be Heroes Rated G
LAWYERS FOUND MASSACRED IN HOME
Cordelia didn't bother to read the text of the story. It'd all be a lie. Wolfram and Hart would never allow the true story to be told. She was surprised the murders had even made the paper.
She knew what had really happened, of course. Angel had told them. She didn't know whether to cry or be angry. He'd been her hero, her friend. But now...
She tossed the paper into the trash and returned to Wesley and Gunn. With or without Angel, they would continue to help the helpless. LA still needed her heroes.
Buffy S2 And You Think School's Hard? Rated G
DRUGGED-OUT TEENS INVADE PARENT-TEACHER NIGHT
Buffy finished reading the report, shook her head and shoved the paper aside. Snyder's lame-o excuse for last night's vampire raid at the school left a lot to be desired, but people would believe it. It was the truth they'd never believe. After all, there were no such things as vampires.
Buffy still couldn't believe she'd been saved last night by her mother. For today at least they were closer than they'd been for years, since Buffy had been called.
She'd have to remember to thank the Billy Idol-wannabe vamp – right before she staked him.
