Buffy stormed into the crypt and stopped short.

"What's that?"

"What's what?"

"That thing you're wearing."

"What's it look like, Slayer? It's a sweater."

"Since when do you wear sweaters?"

"I wear sweaters. Sometimes." He hesitated for a second. "Thought you might like it."

"We're not going out on a date, Spike," she said flatly.

"Didn't think we were," he said defensively.

"So, you going to take it off or am I going to rip it off?"

Spike slipped the sweater over his head, and Buffy lunged at him.

Sometime later she admitted, "You didn't look ugly in that sweater."
