The Harsh Light of Day

Author: Sandy
Rated: G

~~~
Giles stood at the window of his London hotel room, sipped his tea, and watched the sun burn through the early morning fog.
He couldn't help but remember the look on Buffy's face when he'd told her he was returning to England, the hurt and betrayal that flashed on her face before she had turned away from him.
He'd been so sure last night that he was doing the right thing for her, even after her revelation that she'd been pulled from heaven. Now, though, in the harsh light of day, he wondered if he'd just made a horrible mistake.
